Cookie Policy
Cookies keep you signed in, remember your language and currency, and help us see what works on the site. This page lists every cookie we set, what it does and how long it lasts — and how to turn off the ones that are not essential.

1What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a site stores on your device. It lets the site recognise your browser on the next request — which is how you stay signed in, how your cart survives a page reload, and how your currency choice sticks.
This policy also covers technologies that work like cookies: local storage, session storage, pixels and SDKs from advertising platforms. We call all of them "cookies" here for short. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with the data these tools collect.
This site is operated by KEY GOLD PTE. LTD. (Singapore). Payment processing is handled by GAMEBUY LIMITED (United Kingdom), which is also our UK establishment for data protection purposes.
2How we ask for consent
- Strictly necessary cookies are set as soon as you open the site. Without them the site does not work, so they do not need consent.
- Every other cookie — functional, analytics, advertising — stays off until you accept it, in every region where the law requires consent first.
- Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Both are one click on the banner, at the same level.
- You can change your mind at any time from cookie settings in the site footer. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that already happened.
- If you reject a category, we will not re-ask on every visit. We record the choice and respect it.
- We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out of advertising cookies and of any sharing that counts as a sale under US state law.
We do not use cookie walls. Rejecting analytics and advertising cookies does not block you from browsing, buying or contacting support.
3Cookies we use
Names and lifetimes can change as we update the site. If you find a cookie that is not listed, tell us at [email protected] and we will fix the list.
Strictly necessary
These run the site: signing in, keeping your session, routing your request and blocking abuse. They cannot be switched off.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| user | KeyGold | Holds your signed-in session and account state so pages render correctly | Session to 30 days |
| kg_u_type | KeyGold | Records whether you are a guest or a signed-in customer, so the correct layout renders on the server and the page does not jump | 30 days |
| app | KeyGold | Stores your currency, language and invite code so checkout prices are right | 30 days |
| newUserCoupon | KeyGold | Tracks whether your new-customer coupon has been shown or claimed | 30 days |
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Distinguishes people from bots to protect the site and our chat service | 30 minutes |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Records that a security challenge was passed, so you are not challenged repeatedly | Up to 1 year |
Functional
These remember preferences and make optional features work. Turning them off means some conveniences stop working.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| g_state | Remembers that you dismissed the Google One Tap sign-in prompt, so it stops reappearing | Up to 1 year | |
| Customer chat storage | KeyGold | Keeps your support conversation and draft messages across page reloads | Session to 30 days |
Analytics
These tell us which pages people use, where they arrive from and where they get stuck. We use them in aggregate to improve the site.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Assigns a random ID so repeat visits can be counted as one visitor | 2 years |
| _ga_0SQ9H7SN45 | Google Analytics | Keeps session state for our specific property | 2 years |
Advertising
These measure whether an ad led to a visit or a purchase, and let advertising platforms show you relevant ads elsewhere. In some US states, setting these counts as sharing or selling personal information.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Attributes a purchase to the ad you clicked | 90 days |
| _fbp | Meta | Identifies your browser for Facebook and Instagram ad measurement | 90 days |
| _ttp | TikTok | Identifies your browser for TikTok ad measurement | 13 months |
| ttcsid | TikTok | Links events within one TikTok-attributed session | Session to 1 year |
| _tt_enable_cookie | TikTok | Flags that the TikTok pixel is allowed to run | 13 months |
4Third-party cookies
Some cookies above are set by other companies, and they act as their own controllers for that data. Their policies govern what they do with it:
- Google (Analytics, Ads, One Tap sign-in) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Meta Platforms (Facebook pixel and login) — facebook.com/privacy/policy
- TikTok (pixel) — tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Cloudflare (security and delivery) — cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- Our payment providers, who may set cookies during checkout for fraud screening
These providers may process data outside your country. Where that involves an international transfer from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy apply.
5Other storage we use
- Local and session storage. Used to cache your cart, recently viewed products, interface state and the customer-chat message queue. Cleared with your browsing data.
- Pixels and SDKs. Small scripts or images from advertising platforms that record events such as a page view or a completed purchase. These load only after you accept advertising cookies.
- Server-side logs. Not cookies, but worth knowing about: our servers record IP address, request time and user agent for security. See the retention table in our Privacy Policy.
We do not use device fingerprinting to build advertising profiles, and we do not use cookies to track you across unrelated websites for our own purposes.
6Managing cookies
On our site
Open cookie settings from the footer to change your choices per category at any time.
In your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its privacy settings — Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox and their mobile versions all have this under privacy or site data. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and checkout.
With a browser signal
If your browser or an extension sends Global Privacy Control, we read it as an opt-out of advertising cookies without you having to do anything else.
At the source
You can also opt out directly with the advertising platforms through their own ad settings, and adjust Google Analytics collection using Google's browser opt-out add-on.
7Regional notes
EEA, UK and Switzerland
Non-essential cookies are set only after you give consent, under the ePrivacy rules and the GDPR. Consent is granular by category, and you can withdraw it as easily as you gave it. We are monitoring the EU Digital Omnibus proposals on cookie consent and will update this page if the rules change.
United States
In California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws, our use of advertising cookies may count as sharing or selling personal information. You can opt out through cookie settings, by sending a Global Privacy Control signal, or by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information". We do not knowingly use advertising cookies for anyone under 16.
Brazil, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and elsewhere
We apply the same consent model everywhere: essential cookies always on, everything else only with your agreement. Local rights described in our Privacy Policy apply to the data these cookies generate.
8Changes to this policy
We update this page when we add or remove a tool. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If we add a new category of non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent again before it runs.
